One aspect I would like to change about the overall curriculum of our dental program is that it should

consider specialization in the subjects from the early years of study since dentistry is a highly specialized

and technical profession that is not compared to any other area of health. Instead of addressing general

subjects that may not be directly relevant to our career and with the passage of time are not resumed,

therefore forgotten by the student, it would be more beneficial to focus on specialized subjects from the

beginning that will be reviewed and necessarily remembered by the rest of the career and working life

as dentists. This would not only shorten the duration of our studies, reducing the stress levels experienced

in studying dentistry, but it would also allow us to develop more specific and relevant skills for dental

practice.

On the other hand, it would be interesting to apply a greater number of activities that go beyond a lecture where only the teacher is speaking, such as practical didactic steps or simply to carry out extracurricular activities with high student participation in order to break the routine and make the career less stressful.

Perceived of stress in university students, their impact on academic performance, coping strategies and familiar support.

Lastly, I would like to emphasize the poor quality of the internet at the university. It always works up to a certain point of connected people. If there are many, the signal and internet data are lost, making it impossible for most of a generation to take a class at the same time while connected to the university's network

  1. Hi Fabi, I completely agree about the quality of the internet (it's so bad), and I also agree about the dynamics of the classes. I believe they are quite monotonous.
